Please review the policies associated with BostonSight Specialty Lenses for lens warranties, returns, fit exchanges, Rx refills, and material changes. Note that you may be required to complete a form and return the applicable lenses.
BostonSight SCLERAL lenses are guaranteed to meet all parameter specifications and be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of shipment to you.
Defective Lens Return
Defective lens return requests shall be processed through the Lab Remake selection button within your FitConnect account. Lenses returned as ‘defective’ under the manufacturing warranty must be returned within 90 days of shipment by BostonSight Specialty Lenses to you in the original packaging. You are responsible for shipping costs, and proof of delivery of returned product. Promptly following receipt, BostonSight Specialty Lenses will inspect returned lenses for defects. If a lens is found to be defective, a replacement lens will be shipped via the same delivery method specified in the original order at no additional cost to you.
Fit Exchange Period
Lenses ordered during the Fit Exchange Period for parameter adjustments including change in diameter within FitKit® range, change in base curve, change in material, toric periphery, front surface astigmatism, channels. The number of exchanges for lens parameter adjustments is not limited during the 120-day Fit Exchange Period, and no additional charges are incurred for modifications made
Rx Refill Lenses
Rx Refill lenses are an exact duplicate of a previously ordered lens. Rx Refills are not eligible for the Fit Exchange Period and are not eligible for refunds. Rx Refills may be ordered through your FitConnect account.
Material Change Lenses
For previously ordered lenses that have duplicate parameters but require material modification, you may make a material change at a reduced cost. Material Change lens orders are not eligible for the Fit Exchange Period.
If your lens arrived damaged, a patient cancels an order, the lens doesn’t adapt, BostonSight Specialty Lenses will provide a full credit (with the exception of non-refundable shipping charges, Hydra-PEG coating, and SmartSight HOA) for such lenses, provided that you complete the online form, follow the instructions and return lenses, if applicable, within 120 days of shipment to you.
